Triple-decker

The interweaving accordion book represents Triple-decker houses which were built in the United States to accommodate newly arrived immigrant workers and their families. The apartments are decorated with textiles, fabrics and tiles that are visually intermingled with those of other ethnic families signally a wide range of diversity. Like the flags displayed at the U.N., this represents a melting pot of ideas and tolerance for coexistence. Triple-decker was printed on Lama Li, Strathmore and Epson digital papers. Closed size is 10" x 6" x 1.5". Comes in fabric covered case. Edition of 15, $250.
