A Spiral of Famous Planes

 
Interact with this spiral fold out of Famous Planes, 16 panels in all, inspired by Ezma’s love of flying, letterpress printing, and experimenting. Each panel is printed from a separate plate on a Vandercook proof press using wire, found objects, monoprint, stencils, drawing/writing with glue, pressure plates made from differing layers of paper, relief, and viscosity variations in ink. Actual aeronautical charts cover the back of each panel. Closed size, 7.5” x 6” x 4”. Open, 31” x 25”. Limited edition.
