A Cuban Taxi and 7 Hot Passengers

Old America cars rumble along the streets of Cuba’s cities. Crowed into one of these taxis with 6 other hot passengers and breathing in visible clouds of exhaust a rider is happy to arrive at their destination in a timely fashion. Almendrones is a collaborative project with ten Cuban printmakers. They offer here a reflection of their lived experience with these American Cars. Woodcut, Lithography, Silkscreen, Intaglio printed in Havana, Cuba.  8.5” x 13”, Edition of 25 with 2 binders copies, $2000.
