The latest edition from the Brown University Ziggurat Press is a handmade paean to the famed and infamous humorist S. J. Perelman, made of a letter-press printed paper cover and digital text. With a wit approaching Perelman's, author Daniel Asa Rose, recipient of the O. Henry Prize and two Pen Fiction Awards, looks back on the life and work of the author, playwright, and screenwriter, best known for his many essays in The New Yorker, his screenplays for several Marx Brothers' movies, and his Academy Award winning script for 1956's Around the World in Eighty Days. The book includes Perelman's friend Al Hirschfeld's famous Perelman portrait in a surprise pop-up. S. J. Perelman is 8" x 5", with 20 pages.
